Sometimes it is useful to make image filenames searchable to help people find their photos in a large selection of photos. It is possible to do this with a standard event by the following two steps:
Step 1
First, when creating the event be sure to enable "photo tagging". You'll find the option when expanding the "advanced settings" section on the new event page. Enabling this will instruct the system to listen for any new files being uploaded and automatically tag each photo with its own filename. Note that this cannot be changed anymore once the event is created.
Step 2
Then once the event is created, you need to enable the "Searching" option. You'll find this in the list of event settings. This instructs the system to switch the event's default display that visitors will see to a search page instead of the standard layout. (This can be switched on/off any time if you need to)
