In certain cases, it is not desirable to have images publicly viewable. For these situations, we provide the option to make an event private. Images uploaded to a private event will not be viewable unless the required credentials are provided.
Privacy can be set per event from the Store Admin under Events > My Event > Settings > Privacy. We provide several authentication mechanisms, so you can choose the one best suited to each event:
Require a valid e-mail address
A visitor is required to enter any valid e-mail address in order to view and purchase photos for an event.
Require one password for the entire event
With this option, a visitor will be required to enter a valid password to view and purchase photos for an event. Here you are able to set the password. Anyone who provides this password will have access to all images uploaded to the event.
Require a password per album
Sometimes, you want to give access to a portion of an event's photos only. With the album password option, you are able to set a different password for each album you create under the event. A visitor will be required to enter the applicable password and will be able to view the photos uploaded to that album only.
