Batch orders provide a cost-effective way for customers to receive their print orders by allowing collection at a central location. By sending multiple orders in the same consignment, the delivery cost is radically reduced.
When to use it
This works great for situations where the audience lives in the same area and have a central location where the batched delivery can be sent and then collected. Typically, most school-related events such matric farewells, school plays, sports days, etc are ideally suited.
How it works
Batched orders work on cut off date that you set from the Store Admin. Customers who order and pay before the cut off date will have the option to collect the photos at a location you specify. Once the cut off date is reached, orders will be fulfilled and delivered to you in one consignment within 2 weeks.
The batched orders are sorted and sealed for you, so they are ready to hand out straight out of the box. Customers may still order after the cut-off date using the normal delivery options. Customers only pay R7 per order to cover the delivery costs.
The batch delivery option is enabled per event. Multiple events may share the same batch delivery.
How to set it up
You'll find the batched order setup in Store Admin > Batches. Simply create your batch, set the cut off date, delivery address and select the events applicable to the batch.
